Knight Of Orimo

This was a project I started in order to learn and use Substance painter, so that I could better understand the PBR pipeline withinin the video games industry.

It was an absolute blast working with a stylistic approach to the proportions and then leaning into a realer look for the textures. That said it wasn't without it's challenges, I learn't half way through that for a learning project, a full character is an ambitious road to take.

My advice! If you're looking to learn something within your field, work on a small project. Allow yourself a small sandbox to really focus on applying a new technique/piece of software to that segment. You'll spend more time learning than creating!
